About us

Project Management Austria (pma) is Austria’s leading project management association and the official representative of the International Project Management Association (IPMA®) in Austria. pma offers globally recognised certification in accordance with pma/IPMA® standards. It is a platform for trends and innovation in project management and for the further training of project managers. Furthermore, pma provides a network for both beginnerst in the profession and experts from all industries.

IPMA® (International Project Management Association)

The IPMA® was initiated in 1965 as a discussion group for managers of international projects. Following the first international congress in Vienna in 1967, which was attended by participants from 30 countries, the organisation has evolved and expanded and is now the leading international promoter of project management. The international IPMA® network consists of more than 70 national Member Associations with over 120,000 members. IPMA® certifications are internationally recognised standards for project management that we carry out at our pma certification unit.
