pma young crew Management Board

The pma young crew management board consists of five young crew members, who all assume their positions on a volunteer basis. Amongst others, their responsibilities include the organisation of events, the coordination of marketing activities or the acquisition of new young crew members.

Alexandra Kirbes, MA, BA, BA, cPM

Alexandra Kirbes has been an active member of the pma young crew since 2015 and part of the Management Board since 2020. In 2021 Alexandra took over the leadership of the management board as chair woman. She is responsible for the implementation of various events (workshop, PM Experience, get2gether). Professionally, Alexandra is a program and project management specialist at Borealis AG. She is certified in the following project management areas: IPMA® Level C, Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Master. Previously, she spent five years in project and transformation management in the Corporate IT & Digitalization department at Wienerberger AG. Besides her passion for successful project execution, she loves to discover new places, go scuba diving and spend time with friends and family.

Philip Bargiel, BSc, cPMA

"Wrong communication and unknown dependencies are part of everyday work as a project manager.“ According to Philip, the ability to make smart decisions and to enhance competences is key for project management. 

In the management board he is responsible for all IPMA® matters, like the organisation of international events. His hobbies consist of dancing, playing tennis and he like to learn foreign languages. Philip studied information systems and specialised in project management and IT governance. This provides him not only with a better understanding but also with the competence in scientific analysis in project prioritisation theories. He is certified as Scrum Master and project manager according to IPMA® level D. As a result, he decided to work in IT governance and controls the project portfolio for international projects in an audit organiziation called Deloitte.

Désirée Beil

Désirée has been an active member of the pma young crew since 2018 and a proud part of the management board since 2021. She is responsible for the planning and implementation of marketing activities, the social media presence and the writing of event post-events and newsletters. Her degree in German Philology is due to her greatest passion, creative writing. On the side, she works in sales at C&A. In her free time, she unleashes her creativity in ballroom dancing as well as writing a personal blog and also enjoys spending time with friends and family. Other things that are indispensable in life for the creative head: music, which works wonders for both good and bad moods, humorous people, a love of elephant figures and the motto "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger", which applies to all situations in life.

Carina Lechner, MA, cPMA

Carina joined pma young crew in 2018 and has been part of the pma young crew Management Board since 2021. Her responsibilities include the organization of events such as pma young crew get2gether and PM Experiences as well as the implementation of the Project Management Championship (PMC) in Austria. During her bachelor studies in "Product Marketing and Project Management", she dealt with the topic of project management in depth for the first time and was already able to complete her IPMA® Level-D certification in the course of this. During her Master's studies, she was able to gain experience in coordinating EU-wide research projects and thus in working with different industries and cultures. Since the beginning of 2019, she has now been working as a consultant in the field of Digital Customer Experience at Deloitte Digital Austria. Her hobbies include traveling, sports, drawing, sewing, reading and hiking.

Anna Prosen, cPMA

Anna has been an active young crew member since 2017 and a member of the Management Board since 2019. Her tasks include writing newsletters and planning and implementing marketing activities for the pma young crew. In her free time Anna devotes herself to athletic pole dancing, enjoys going to the theatre and is an honorary client advisor at the SiM (Self and Interest Representation for the Execution of Measures). At the moment  she studies project management & IT at FH BFI Vienna. Besides studying project management & IT she works as support in the quality assurance for engine control units (focus: Software, Diesel and gasoline projects) with BOSCH Austria.

Michaela Obersriebnig, MSc

Michaela was an active pma young crew member from 2015 to 2020 and on the Management Board since 2017. At the beginning of 2018, she took over the role of Chair for the pma young crew Management Board. In 2021 Michaela supports the pma young crew Management Board with her expertise and contacts. What Michaela finds exciting about project management is the challenge of motivating teams to pull together and work towards a common goal. One of Michaela's greatest passions is singing. It is therefore not surprising that she is also a board member and alto in the Carinthian Singgemeinschaft in Vienna and the middle voice in the Terzett Pappalatur Manufaktur. During her master's degree in molecular biology, Michaela spent a semester in Copenhagen and a year working in Seattle. She currently works as a clinical monitor/project manager in clinical trials.
