The pma lounges extend event portfolio offered by Projekt Management Austria beyond the borders of Vienna and offers pma members and people interested in project management outside of Vienna the opportunity to participate in pma events. Since 2006 the pma lounge takes place regularly in different cities with different lectures of well-known companies with a focus on project management. The event format also acts as a networking platform to exchange information on current PM topics.
An inspiring talk by Manfred Fohringer at the pma lounge in Linz on the topic: ‘Project management in transition – how we are shaping the future of PM between classic and agile delivery models, hybrid working environments and new technologies.’
About the presentation
Today more than ever, project management is caught between conflicting demands: traditional and agile delivery models exist in parallel, hybrid working models combining on-site and remote work shape everyday project life, and new trends such as artificial intelligence and automation are changing roles, processes and decision-making paths. In this environment, we want to explore together how modern project management can provide orientation, build bridges and be made fit for the future.
About the speaker
Manfred Fohringer is an experienced management and IT consultant with a focus on operational project and programme management, particularly in the SAP and IT environment. He accompanies traditional and agile transformations, rollouts and digitalisation projects and supports organisations through coaching, process management and the development of efficient IT and project structures.
